Welcome to Heronsgate

I am delighted to welcome you to Heronsgate School, part of Inspiring Futures Through Learning Education Trust (IFTL). We are a vibrant and diverse junior school of approximately 350 children from Years 3 to 6. We place safeguarding, wellbeing and respect for others at the heart of everything that we do. All our children and staff always demonstrate the values of The Heronsgate Way and celebrate the achievements of all.

We are proud to be part of the wider Herons’ Partnership, working closely with Heronshaw and Heronshill Schools for the benefit of the wider Walnut Tree and Kents Hill communities. This partnership also allows us to share expertise and knowledge amongst the three schools and wider multi-academy trust for the benefit of our children.

We greatly appreciate the relationship we have with parents and carers of children at our school. We have an active PTA, Friends of Heronsgate, whose support enables us to offer a wide ranging curriculum offer for all children.
