Our Geography Curriculum:

Geography lessons at Heronsgate follow the Cornerstones curriculum. This allows the children to take part in exciting, well-sequenced lessons that build on the knowledge and skills that the children have gained in KS1. This will include learning about the United Kingdom, Europe and North and South America.

Aims:

It is our aim that every child at Heronsgate School will gain knowledge and skills that enable them to fully understand the world around them. As well as gaining important knowledge about the local area and their place in the wider world, the children will have the opportunity to explore both human and physical geography through investigations, enquiry, evaluation and presentation.
