Each day follows a structured timetable. Core subjects—English, mathematics and reading—are taught every morning, allowing pupils to consolidate and extend their skills. Foundation subjects, such as art, history and science, are taught in the afternoons, with a focus on developing subject-specific knowledge and vocabulary. In Year 4, there is also a focus on preparing children for the Multiplication Check in June. This is often referred to as the MTC Check. Information will be shared in due course. However, if you want to find out more, click on the link: Multiplication tables check: information for parents - GOV.UK

As part of Key Stage 2, children are encouraged to make connections across the curriculum, building on prior learning and preparing for future challenges.
